When I was remodeling my basement I knew I wanted to to a bar, but I wanted it to feel like a real bar that you would see in a Store Bar. So when I seen the work that customized designs was doing, I decided to order one and I glad I did. What a great job.
Great quality and workmanship and were able to get the electric cutouts where we needed them for a flush install.
This display is definitely a guest favorite. Looks very sharp with the lights on or off and definitely ties a dry bar together. Due to the unknown factor of how many bottles will be displayed, I attached the display to the wall using a French cleat style mounting. Well worth the price for quality and great customer service.
I've placed 5 orders with Customized Designs over the past year, and they are awesome to work with! Communication is excellent, shipping times are clearly stated and honored, and the shelves are well-built and look amazing! My only suggestion (and the reason I knocked off 1 star) is to switch to a more modern LED lighting controls. The current design uses antiquated IR remote controls. My Roku remote often changes the LED shelf colors I've set, and that's super annoying. Also, setting up custom colors and fades can require hundreds of button presses, and the process also fails enough times to be really aggravating. All these issues would be resolved by switching to a modern app-based control system, which is widely available. Apart from the above criticism I can't say enough good things about Customized Designs. Hopefully they can investigate improving the control system, but in the meantime I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Thanks for helping to make my home bar look just the way I envisioned!
Mind Blowing !! This is my 5th purchase from Customized Designs and I haven’t been disappointed yet! I highly recommend their products to everyone!! This is the best Christmas gift that I’ve purchased this year! I don’t have any regrets for adding this incredible addition to my bar!! The low profile LED liquor shelf was the perfect addition to our home bar. We didn't want anything too tall so we were so happy to find the low profile. The customizable length and variety of colors made it easy to match with our bar perfectly. Jeff was very helpful, quickly answering all the questions we had via email. Very happy with this purchase!

From day one these were the shelves for us. We saw them at a local bar in the Chicago suburbs and the owner was kind enough to share the info with us. I was worried that this would be a tough project...absolutely not! After watching the install video and in speaking with Jeff Ott at Customized Designs, install was a piece of cake! We could not be any happier with the final outcome. The colors along with the LED remote make our basement bar adaptable to any holiday or mood. We recently refinished our basement and added a bar. While researching shelves to add to the back wall by the TV, I came across Customized Designs. When I explained the design I wanted, Jeff was incredible at helping me find the right pictures and the correct resolution for my design. After much research, I ran across Customized Designs. I liked what I saw on their site, but was skeptical to just place the order online. I had to have a specific design/measurements to make it fit my setup. Not only did they answer all my calls, they were very helpful in getting me exactly what I wanted. I ordered the four tier display, and sent in my own logo. I haven't really set up the lights, but just use the preprogrammed options. Looks awesome. Now I need to put in a wine rack shelf.

Customized Designs were absolutely fantastic to work with from beginning to end. I only wish my photo captured the actual vivid colors of the final product. Its much, much better in person. I am a 100% satisfied customer and love the addition to my bar.
I really do love my shelf. No hassle with shipping or packaging, installation was pretty painless with some extra hands. Shelf looks good and is very secure. Unintentionally conveniently the remote for my sound bar is the same frequency as the LED shelf so turning on one turns on the other (which is actually very nice for me). Provides great back-lighting for my TV and it looks truly amazing. Very happy with this company and this shelf.
Perfection! We love these shelves. They have made our home bar complete. They display our glasses and bottles beautiful without budging, the shelves are so well made and sturdy. Beautiful! I can color match these shelves to match the colors I pick for my fireplace. I only have two notes. 1st, the connectors should be secured with something other than heat-shrink, if you ever intend to separate them. 2nd, the IR sensor works on the same spectrum as other remotes, so you may well get unintended effects from using a TV or other remote (my TV remote volume changes the color, etc).Overall, I'm quite satisfied. I will be looking to buy more products for other ares of my house.

We ordered the 4 step display and received it in short order. It came in packaged well and without damage in plenty of time for our Christmas party.

Our three step unit was exactly what we were looking for. Delivery was prompt. The unit was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. The shelves are very well made and sturdy, but the LED lighting is the real topper. Our home's bar area is going to be a truly fun place to gather now. Should we have the need, we would absolutely buy from Customized Designs again.

Before I placed my order, I read all the reviews including the one which suggested that maybe the existing reviews were not legit because they were all so good. I am here to tell you that this product is the real deal. The shelves are absolutely beautiful and very well made. We own a lounge and have spent over a half a million dollars on the interior of the place. I saw that most of the photos on the website were of small residential applications and I was concerned that the product would not be nice enough or strong enough for a commercial application. My concerns evaporated immediately when I opened the box. They are perfect for a commercial application and much nicer than the custom glass and LED application I was planning on using before I found this website. Nice work guys!
My Customized 3Step display has changed the way my husband entertains his family and friends. He posted this display on social media and bragged about his Father's day gift and all of his friends loved it. He even have our your web information for any of his friends that would be interested in purchasing a display. My husband and I loved how it looked without the lights on so when we turned the lights on we fell in love with it even more. This product is fantastic. It is built very sturdy. It didn't have to be assembled in any way. It sit perfect on our counter being perfectly level. It plugged in and lit up just beautiful. I have had more compliments on this piece behind the bar then anything I have done in along time. The price is great, the product is great and I recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade there bar either in a commercial establishment or at home. The two wine glass rack LED shelves I ordered are fantastic! The only thing that I would change is possibly moving the rack part as close to the front of the shelf as possible to maximize the shelf space behind the stem bases. I really appreciated the customer service in keeping me informed about where my order was in the process.
I think the brackets should be a little longer and maybe have a 2nd screw, but the shelves look amazing.

The LED wine glass shelf is a great feature to any bar! It not only serves as a shelf and wine glass holder but it draws the customers eye to our premium wine selection. It helps in our upsales of our more expensive wines. Let's be honest here we are all concerned with the amount of money we bring in at our establishments and this product helps sell even more. The quality that goes into the engineering and making of the product is shown through the longevity of the shelf. This isn't the first shelf we have bought from customized design and we are going to be repeat customers for a very long time!!
The whole experience was perfect...from beginning to end. I truly loved the fact that the shelving units could come in virtually any size. It made my life much easier due to the demensions for my space. My two units arrived separately (on different days), but it did not make a difference in my case. They were packaged so well that there is no way their products could ever become damaged in transit. Once the units were installed, I fell in love with the amazing look. They made my bar look truly custom made and I could not have asked for a better idea than these lighted shelving units. Thank you for your service!
With so many 5 star reviews, you'd wonder if they were just posted by the company. I can assure you that they were not. These shelves were perfect. they look fantastic and the shelf brackets couldn't have been any easier to hang. Absolutely love this product!

The customer service was excellent throughout the process, including help rearranging the delivery for a personal emergency. I was amazed at how simple these shelves were to install. They look awesome. I really like that you can adjust the LED brightness. My bar has become the focal point of the room.
I was a little concerned picking colors and size without ever seeing one in person. But it arrived in excellent condition and exceeded my expectations. Everyone that has visited has commented on great it looks and a couple have expressed interest in getting one for themselves or as a gift.
